MIT Museum
The only museum on the MIT campus–the MIT Museum–is an inspiring story of non-stop creativity and innovation.  The museum was established in 1971 as the “MIT Historical Collections” in order to collect and preserve artifacts that were historically significant to the MIT community.  Later, the museum started to offer exhibits and programs to both the MIT community and the general public.

The MIT museum holds exciting resources for visitors who are interested in science, including artificial intelligence, maritime history, and holography.  Technology is a main theme of the museum, exploring numerous inventions, ideas and innovation.  Many of the exhibitions are public and interactive for visitors to engage in.

Nowadays, the museum is a pioneer in providing society with the chance to engage in science and technology while simultaneously having some fun.
