9 Broad Canal Way, Cambridge, MA 02142 Kika Tapas has opened to great reviews — with a Spanish/Basque cuisine. Close to the Kendall Square T-stop, it is easily accessible any time. You could even get here by Kayak as it’s right next to the canal. This is THE place to learn the tapas method of eating. Servers will guide you to a new experience if you haven’t eaten this small-plate-style before. There’s a long bar with comfortable seating (no hard seats in the house), dining areas and some privacy as well. The decor is eye-popping. The menu is extensive and not expensive. You can create small meals with just a few selections of tapas plates — or bring a group and order numerous selections. Wines are mostly from Spain, and very affordable. The restaurant is new but the owners have been in the business for years with Tapeo in Boston and Solea in Waltham. |
