Folk Inspirations’ is an entertaining and engaging musical program for violin and piano, that explores the music of Western classical composers such as Bartok, Ravel, Falla, and Mozart that were inspired by the indigenous folk music of their native countries. Concert takes place on Wednesday, March 14th at 7pm at the New School of Music in Cambridge. The 2nd Wednesday Concert Series is a showcase for the talents of New School’s performing artists and local guest musicians. The concert series offers the community an opportunity to experience a wide spectrum of music, including classical, jazz, pop and folk in the intimate setting of our 1883 wooden school house.
